Marketing and Admissions Officer –St Constantine International School Atrusha
Role Reports to: School Principal
The Marketing and Admissions Officer maintains open and productive channels of communication with the St. Constantine International School (SCIS) community and non- SCIS community, in line with the school’s philosophy. The Marketing and Admissions Officer ensures a smooth admissions process for prospective families. They also contribute to the marketing of the school by understanding and communicating the educational merits of the school through relevant publications and various forms, including via the school’s social media. The Marketing and Admissions Officer is also responsible for the marketing, advertising and public relations of the school. This also includes being responsible and organising regular promotional events, and the logistics of visitors visiting TBSC.
Job Description:
The Marketing and Admissions Officer is expected to:
- Promote and contribute to the school's aims (mission, vision, values, policies).
- Promote a positive school culture which is happy, purposeful and productive.
- Maintain a pleasant, cooperative public relationship with the school community.
- Ensure a steady intake of new students.
- Increase student numbers.
- Retain students.
- Create strategies that are both measurable and costed.
- Assist and support staff whenever possible.
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required
Responsibilities:
- The Marketing and Admissions Officer will:
- Coordinate the admissions process.
- Liaise with the Heads of Sections and Headteacher throughout the admissions process.
- Keep an up to date record of students in the school utilising the school management system.
- Inform the Headteacher when a student is admitted to school.
- Conduct School tours for prospective students and parents.
- Identify and incorporate marketing opportunities for the school in liaison with the Headteacher.
- Actively pursue students by looking into various opportunities.
- Maintain all student files, in liaison with Primary and Secondary Assistants who will look after their sections.
- Publicise the school’s educational programmes.
- Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the school’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIN, Website and others) and identify other opportunities.
- Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the TBSC communications strategy. This includes, and not limited to, school newsletter, yearbook, weekly messages and official emails.
- Promote the understanding and communicate the educational merits of the school through relevant publications and various forms. It is likely this will also include publicising the school’s educational programmes.
- Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the school’s retention strategy in liaison with the Headteacher.
- Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the organisation of SCIS promotional events (e.g. Round Square Conferences).
- Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the marketing of SCIS.
- Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the advertising of SCIS.
- Be responsible for the organisational logistics when external visitors visit SCIS.
- Be responsible for the aesthetics of SCIS and promote different ideas.
- Develop a bank of information about the school including photographs/images that can be used in support of articles, publications and on the website.
- Manage the school’s ex-alumni association.
- Work closely with the Headteacher.
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of a school admissions experience desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of public relations experience desirable.
- Previous related experience within education would be an asset.
- A bachelor’s degree is highly desirable
