JOB DETAILS:
During the financial year of 2018/2019, ST.Andrew Parish has set aside funds for its operations and it is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for employment of the clerk of works (Cow) for supervision of works on proposed construction of New Church for St. Andrew Parish at Bahari Beach Dar es Salaam in a one year renewable contract. Invitations are now extended for qualified candidates to fill the post. .
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications;
• Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3 years experience.
• Self-Motivation and strong interpersonal skills 4. Good knowledge of construction technology.
The Candidate will be required to
• Supervise daily site activities and ensure quality control of the works.
• Ensure that the works are executed according to design and specifications
• Liaise with Team leader and other consultants in case of any challenge that might cause delay or variations of the works.
• Attending site meetings and site inspections.
• Attending site meetings and site inspections.
• Any other duty assigned by the Project Manager that is related to the Project.
The successful candidate must be ready to start the work immediately after signing the contract. The probation period will be one month only.
