i. Conduct research on livestock diseases;
ii. Keep records of research findings;

iii. Undertake diagnostic test for various diseases of livestock;
iv. Provide input in developing research proposals;
iv. Provide input in developing research proposals;
v. Collect and analyse data of ongoing research projects; and
vi. Train laboratory technicians on laboratory management techniques;
