Overview
The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) is a Statutory Institution owned by the two Governments of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia on a 50/50 share holding basis. With the registered Head Office being in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, TAZARAhastwo Regional Administrative Centres —one in Mpika, Zambia and the other in Dar es Salaam. Position: Corporation Secretary
TANZANIA-ZAMBIA RAILWAY AUTHORITY HEAD OFFICE
We are hiring CORPORATION SECRETARY
Suitably qualified nationals are encouraged to apply for the position of Corporation Secretary at the TAZARA Head Office, Dar es Salaam.
JOB PURPOSE
To advise Management on legal matters and provide legal and administrative services to the Council of Ministers, Board of Directors and the Authority in general as well as safeguarding Authority interests and asset utilization.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Form four Certificate;
2. L.L.B Degree from an accredited University;
3. Legal Practising Certificate;
4. An active member in good standing of the Bar of Tanganyika;
5. Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken; and
6. At least five years of relevant working experience.
